Based On The Gsm Wireless Network, Remote Data Transmission System

With the fast development of mobile telecommunication technology, short message service as the basic communication means of the GSM system is stepping up into a period of fast growth. Using mobile telecommunication technology to implement remote data transmission and control has high research value in theory and unlimited application prospect.The immediately communication between the bus system and the bus monitor center is the key to the achievement of ITS, so a perfect communication system for ITS is needed. In this paper, a remote wireless data transmission system based on GSM short message service which consists of the bus system and the bus monitor center is built, aiming at realizing the immediately communications between the bus system and the bus monitor center. The bus system uses AT89C51 as the control chip, it sends AT command to GSM module in order to complete the sending of data and failure information , and receives the failure handling information. The bus monitor center uses SQL Server 2000 database to store and handle the received messages in type. In addition, it builds some interfaces under the Labview environment to manage the database and to master the whole information of the bus operation. It provides realiable evidences for the adjustment of the bus and improves the benefit for the operators and provides convenient for citizens. Finally, according to the design of software & hardware and the debug experiment, this paper validates the rationality and feasibility, which lays a technological foundation for the realization of ITS.
