Based On The Spirit Of Intellectual Freedom Of Library Research

The intellectual freedom and the library spirit are one of the Chinese Library mainstream words. This article takes the philosophical and the sociological knowledge as the theory support. First of all, the paper introduces the freedom and the intellectual freedom from the conception, the type, the significance and the principle. Second, the paper dissertates the library spirit from foreign and native country which have different institution, the culture and the background presenting the different library spirit, then points out the scarcity of library spirit in our country. In view of the problem presenting in our Library, I proposed the intellectual freedom is the main demand of library spirit. At last, I dissertate that the knowledge freedom is the core of library spirit from the institutional and the ethical aspects in order to enable it to have foresightedness and the extendibility.
