Software defect management, the true crux, plays an profound important role in this process. But the defect management still continues the traditional model (find defect, fix defect, regression) .How to manage software defect effectively? How to classify defect in order to determine which defect should be correct first? How to get more useful information related with project management? How to determine software quality is on track or not? The answer of thoese question can not find from the existing management tools and management methods.In order to resolve those questiones, we apply the MVC model which is popular in development of WEB application, and Hibernate technology of JAVA persistence class; we introduce the Software measurement to the process of defects management and ameliorate the traditional model of defect management and successfully implement defect management and measurement software. This software can improve the efficiency of defect management, and provide more information about project management to project leader. Finally, on the basis of the innovations of existing defects management, defects management can play an important role during the project management.The main study contents and features in this thesis:1. Detailedly analyzing present states and features of some popular domestic and abroad defect management tools.2. Summarizing present states and features of Software Measurement.3. Summarizing concept and features of MVC model and Struts frame.4. Searching software defect management on the base of measure as an outlet.5. Planing and doing the whole measure process of defect measurement and analysis method of defect measurement data.6. Transfering the theory in this paper into practical use successfully.
