Over The Past Decade The Interest Rate Adjustment Reports Of A Comparative Study

Currently, as one of the important aspects of national macro-finance policies, interest rate policy has been more and more concerned. The media has paid more attention to reporting about interest rate adjustment. Actually, as a finance policy, interest rate policy is always the focus of media for its great importance to society and public. Throughout comparative research about interest rate adjustment reports, we could find out changes about reporting methods in a decade. No matter in quantities or quality, forms or contents, we could do some research to these changes.This thesis chose three national media, People Daily, Economic Daily and Financial News, as researching objects. Their reports about interest rate adjustment are not only policy declarer, but also carry out detailed explaining and analysis. By comparative researching about interest rate adjustment reports of these three national media, the author tried to figure out their reporting characters and adjustment trends in one decade. Though these three media are quite different in reporting styles or contents, they have something in common, for example, their efforts in digging news value, increasing quantities and length of important news, improving reporting initiative and enriching reporting styles, etc. Throughout the analysis of the commonness, we could find out developing rules about interest rate adjustment reports, reflecting developing trend of financial reports.Furthermore, this thesis analyzed the current status and existent problems about financial reports. With concerned of specialization of financial reports, the author raised some qualifications and professional reporting styles for journalists.
