Since e-commerce has rised in China in1998, related theories such as information flow, capital flow and Logistics flow are used in the process of enterprises'e-business management. The development of the Internet provides a new platform for enterprises to strengthen materials marketing and inventory management. Through the formation of a LAN within the enterprise, using SQL Server, Access and other database technology, the process of making raw materials into finished products is more and more systematization, standardization and automation, which is of great significance. The thesis is based on the study on some basic skills involved in materials marketing and inventory in LAN, Combining the management experience of Chengdu Flour Mill (manufacturing enterprises), and some knowledge of SQL Server and project management learned during the master, designs a system which has no loopholes. Major properties of the system include: 1. High accuracy, the rate of materials marketing and inventory management is more than 98%. 2. Convenient, taking into account the various factors in the process, the system fundamentally overcome the problem of poor computer knowledge of the operators. 3. Low cost, which can greatly improve management efficiency and reduce the cost of human resources. 4. Secure. The thesis especially discusses how to use these technologies build prototype of materials System. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter makes some brief introduction about the project background and the features of the system. The second chapter describes some techniques and methods, such as LAN, CGI, API, JDBC, Web database technology, and the methodologies of e-business management, enterprise management information system development. Chapters three through six describe the system design, including system description, system design preparation phase, system total design, system detailed design, system implementation, and system special analysis.
