With the development of economy and technology, people put forward the new requirements to the medical monitoring system,hoping for service without being restricted by time and place.But the current remote medical care systems can't satify this demand.Although they could sample the patients' data,they are lack of the huge memory,or they don't have wireless transferring ability. Especially, in the urgency, the doctors may make their decision to help the patient based on these cardiograms.So, the paper designs the portable medical monitoring terminal based on the ARM technology and Flash technology and GpsOne technology.This terminal takes the S3C44B0X microprocessor as a center, which uses CDMA-1X mobile communication system for data transmission and GpsOne technology for the patient's locating.The paper first introduces the main CDMA location technologies。comparing and analyzing the main CDMA location technologies we survey the position location technology based on GpsOne; Then a detailed description and research is carried on for the ARM microprocessor and the embedded operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱ;Finally the paper accomplish hardware and software design of the monitoring terminal; and test the overall function of the system.This terminal's hardware design mainly includes the choice of microprocessor chip, the circuit design of memory modules and FD-800 and so on. The Software mainly includes the transplant ofμC/OS-Ⅱon S3C44B0X, the division of system task and the specific realization of each function module. The software plan can be described as an embedded operating system + TCP/IP stack + application program. The application program is developed on the basis ofμC/OS-Ⅱand divided into multi-task, which simplify the software design of application system and improve the reliability of system.The terminal can real-time process, store and transmit data with wireless network. It also can locate the patient accurately.and improve the level of monitoring terminal.The terminal has advantages of high mobility, portability and convenience.
