Research And Implementation Of The Locating Center And Terminal Software In Mobile Resource Management System

Mobile communication is one of the rapidly growing industries. With the development of the mobile industry, the operator can bring more and more value-added services.LCS(LoCation Services)can provide the precise location of the mobile terminal in time and some valuable applications can be provided by using these information. The monitoring and management system based on mobile location technology is one of them.In this article, by discussing the LBS development in the mobile communication system, including the theory and character of the four locating technology which base on CELL ID, TDOA (Time Difference Of Arrival), network assisted GPS and GPSOne, we elaborate how to use the mobile communication system location based service to design and implement the mobile resource management system.According to the need of locating the vehicle and person in the transportation industry, we research and implement a monitoring system. In design phase, object oriented analysis and design method is used. We use UML to construct the system model. At last, the locating server is implemented on windows 2000 server. The terminal software is implemented on BREW mobile.The main content in this article are the mobile resource monitoring system framework design, locating center software and terminal software implementation using OOA and OOD, BREW programming, the future of location based service.
