For many years, break of information exchanges which is now in a stiff digitization way between person and computer is expected, and being able to work, study and be created in an information-environment vividly and visually is imaged. The development and combines of this imaginative faculty and electron technology, which is processed to be the people's cognition of objective things using self feeling sense organ to accept and handle various information, make the "Virtual Reality technology being able to be used. This technology has been considered to be one of the science and technology means affecting future main part of world.This article is mainly composed with the basic conception of Virtual Reality technology, technology characteristic having analyzed from the easy to the difficult owing to that the image Virtual Reality technology, namely panorama and o panoramic.As a new rendering technique, image based rendering (IBR) receives more and more attention because of its high efficiency in virtual scenes modeling and rendering comparing with traditional geometry based rendering. The major challenge of IBR is to represent the continuous scene with images of discontinuous views, so that users can change their view points arbitrarily in real-time. In other words, we should find a way to stitch images of different views together. In this paper, we show the implementation of an image based spherical virtual in-door environment.The resolving scheme of application in the field of intelligence building is studied, and the further application prospective is forecasted technologically.
