| Nowadays, Flat Panel Television becomes more and more popular because of its good picture, excellent appearance and good function. The price also getss lower than before so that many people can afford it. At the same time, the old Cathode Ray Tube Television gradually withdraws from the television market. The Liquid Crystal Display Televisions have taken main part of the new generation Flat Panel Televisions.White balance is a very important character representing the quality of color television. It's adjusting is necessary in the quality control of television's manufacturing processe. The adjusting of white balance for Flat Panel Television is different from that of the analog television.This thesis introduces what is the Flat Panel Television and its photoelectricity characteristic. Compared with the adjusting systems for the analog television and digital television, we propose a new and comprehensive automatic measurement and adjusting system of white balance for the Flat. Panel Television. The whole system is based on PC hardware and software which consists of computer, dual-head display card, signal board of AV and YPbPr, color analysis board, fluctuation Installment, detectors and so on. The software controls the whole process of the measurement.The detailed design of the system is described in the different chapter of this thesis. |
