| Nowadays, Flat Panel Televisions become more and more popular because of its good picture excellent appearance and good function. The price is lower than before;so many people can afford it. And at the same time, the old Cathode Ray Tube Televisions gradually withdraw from the television market. The Liquid Crystal Display Televisions take mainly part of the new generation Flat Panel Televisions.White balance is a very important character representing the quality of color television. It's adjusting is necessary in the quality control of television's manufacturing processes. The adjusting of white balance is different from the analog television.In this thesis, introduces what is the Flat Panel Television and its photoelectricity characteristic. Compare to the adjusting systems for the analog television and digital television, we propose a new and comprehensive automatic measurement and adjusting system of white balance for the Flat Panel Television. The whole system is based on PC hardware and software. It consists of computer, dual-head display card, signal board of AV and YPbPr, color analysis board, fluctuation Installment, detectors and so on. The software controls the whole process of the measurement.The detail design of the system is described in the different chapter of this thesis. |
