Designed Based On The Microkernel Nucleus Smartphone Solutions And System Software

In recent years, the mobile phones become smarter and smarter. It is almost equals a computer. In the future, maybe there is no different between telephone and computer. As 3G times come, the smart phones increase in the market, and it can realize the function of computer. The difference between smart phone and traditions phone is that the smart phones have an application processor and embed system in it. The operating system is very important software for smart phone. Now the main systems are Linux,Symbian, Windows Mobile 和 Palm, they have different merit .The kernel is the core of whole system. It const of processor, memory, device and so on, the kernel usually run processor and correspond. Micro kernel is a simplify kernel, it designed in a small memory, and become more transplantable. It can provide module function, Application Programming Interface (API), when systems need upgrade; we only replace the old module and not need change the whole system, we can supply expansibility and application. So, it is utility to research smart phone based on micro kernel technology.Firstly, the article definitely introduces the research status of smart phone in China and overseas. Then we focus on the feature of Nucleus system and the CPU platforms that it can hold on and system software structure. On the base of those, we put ward the realization project of smart phone software design, including the integral system software design, module function and module realization. In the module realization part, the ALARM module, media module and bios module are introduced in details. After it, the paper demonstrates this project fully, and codes in C program to carry out, which proves the rationality and feasibility of this project.At last, we summarize the key technologies existing in this design and the problems meeting during the design and the further research on the software design of smart phone.The design has been using in real GSM mobile phone system, and every criterion conform to CMCC general standard specification on GSM terminal.
