Worldwide, the cardiovascular disease is the main reason of death. ECG monitoring is an important method for cardiac disease detection and prevention. With the development of medical technology, the medical mode gradually changed to prevent primary mode with the family and the community as the medical center. Therefore, researches of telemedicine system are taken seriously more and more, and researches of wireless telemedicine system developed faster in recent years. Telemedicine system with mobile communication technology can bring greater flexibility to users as they can receive the ECG monitoring, daily health advice and emergency relief without the limit of time and space. Moreover, with the popularization and development of smart phone, research of telemedicine system based on smart-phone has become the domestic and foreign hotspots.This research focuses on the design of the software of smart-phone based ECG-monitoring system and finishes such works:First of all, existed algorithms for QRS-complex detection are summarized, and the wavelet method is chose to detect the QRS-complex. Marr wavelet translation at scale 4 with dynamic threshold method is chose to detect R-wave. Wrong detections are reduced by using estimate methods. The QRS jumping-ending point are detected with the Q and S waves then. The algorithm is programmed and simulated using Matlab and tested using data of MIT-BIH database. Testing result shows that the accuracy is higher than 90%.Secondly, a diagnostic criteria is formulated according to the disease characteristics and clinical experience to diagnosis atrial fibrillation, tachycardia, bradycardia, arrest, atrial premature, ventricular premature, interpolated ventricular premature and R-on-T. Then the diseases can be diagnosis according to the criteria by diagnosis algorithm with the durations of QRS-complex and the RR intervals which are calculated from the detected QRS-complex.Thirdly, a smart-phone with Windows Mobile 6.5 system is chose as the research platform. The detecting and diagnosis algorithm is removed to the smart-phone and the arrhythmia monitoring system is programmed on the smart-phone. The functions of the software are as follow: ECG signal reading and display, ECG data processing and analysis, heart rate analysis results show, ECG data and analysis results transmission by GPRS and real clock show. The software is programmed using C# on the Visual Studio 2005 and Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional SDK platform. Results of real-time testing show that the software can process a 3s'ECG signal in 0.15s, which can meet the requirement of the telemedicine system.Fourthly, software of the tele-monitoring center is built using LabView, which can receive ECG data and diagnosis results from the internet and display the waveform and alarm lights. Moreover, it can save and display the alarm records. The whole system has been tested and the results shows it runs well.
