Medical Volume Data Visualization Technology And Its Applications

Analyze their domestic and overseas development.2. Research on VTK and its supporting methods on medical volume rendering. And then, realize them on PC by Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0. Key codes and analysis on different volume rendering methods are offered.3. Combining the methods of external sphere and pretreatment of rays, aim at regular medical volume data, and a fast volume clipping method based on ray-casting is given. The method can get good visualization effect according to VTK.4. A medical 3D visualization analyzing laboratorial system is developed based on VTK in Windows. The system employs volume rendering and creation of visual slices based on VTK, and offers the function such as 3D rendering, 3D clipping, display of visual slices, measure, slice orientation and so on. The system can be used widely.
