Digital television,especially High-Definition TV, is a developing direction in television receiver system. The TV technology in our country now is in a interim from analog system to digital system. In consumer IC field, in order to achieve the high definition definition many types of new high quality DTV receiver products are booming. Now PDP, LCD and DLP display have occupied the TV market. Based on the digital television diversity, digital video post-process is an important step of the digital television industry chain.The author first introduces video signal source formats anh the necessity of video scaler. As many classical image interpolation algorithms always takes only one interpolation kernel in the video image process, the calculation and the quality is a contradiction. The paper proposes a image interpolation algorithm based on local content control. This algorithm can be fit to scale gray image and color image, and can reduce the alias after scaling process and improve the quality. After external test, give the results of this algorithm and classical interpolation algorithms. At last, list the algorithm model, give the results of still image simulation.
