With the development of network, more and more computers connect each otherthrough it. There are a considerable amount of resources stored in these computers, buthow to share these resources in a wide area network is a problem, for the lack of aneffective mechanism of sharing. These years, the popularity of P2P produced manysharing tools, supplied a convenient way of resource sharing. But all these P2P tools aresimply like resource markets, lacking a systematic way for managing resources. Hence,a new generation of distributed system—DOS (Digital Organism System) has beendesigned to arrange the resources and storage spaces of computers in a wide areanetwork in our lab.As DOS finished, how to search a required resource among such large amount ofresources becomes a problem. Contemporary search engines are based on keywords, thecompleteness and accuracy of search result is deficient. Of course, these search enginesare not compatible with DOS for the characteristic of intelligence of DOS. The conceptof Resource Discovery is to design a knowledge base for guiding search into an accurateway. This paper gives some ideas about knowledge base construction, mainly targetsimproving the completeness and accuracy of search result. Verb Meta Group which ismentioned in this paper is used in knowledge base for searching, because of thecharacteristic of semantic in verb, and it will improve accuracy of search. Alsoknowledge base constructed Meta Direct Graphs which is useful to find relative metas.and relative resources can be found through relative metas for improving searchcompleteness. The purpose of this research is to give an idea of how to construct knowledge base, expecting Resouree Discovery could meet users' demand very well one day.
