Organization Unicodes are unique, permanent and legal code labels for the organs, enterprises, institutions, social organizations and private non-enterprise units legally established in the People's Republic of China. Each data of the code consists of organization code, organization name, organization address and telephone number etc. Organization Unicode database is a very enormous data set that composing of up to ten thousands of records indexed by organization code. Furthermore, data quality in the database must be guaranteed so that the government can better manage corporations. The input and query of date should be real, quick and effective. The present code systems have the following problems: the distribution of the code segment can not be controlled which may lead to the identical code segment is assigned to two different departments sometimes and repeating codes appear in certain range; The date are reported by means of floppy disk that is easily damaged and the database can not be timely updated in light with the change information of code; Before code is accepted, some errors can not be found in time because there is no effective means that can be used for testing the repeating codes, illegal repeating name and spanned code segment; The information about idle code and code segment can not be efficiently managed; The computer systems are too old to support the developing code business. Organization Unicode management system is one of the typical information management systems. Its development mainly includes two sides. One is creating and maintaining the background database, and the other is developing the interfacial application programs. The former requirement requires creating a database consisting of consistent, complete, and safe data. The easily used application programs with complete functions are needed by the latter requirement. To solve the aforementioned problems and realize the code network management as soon as possible, an advanced, practical, steady and extensible code management system is urgently needed. The system introduced in my dissertation is developed just for satisfying these demands.Visual FoxPro is a typical relational database management system.
