The media and society are being mutually constructed with the highly developed mass media in the modern society, and the medium is increasingly becoming important in social life status. This article, abandoning the former sole research approach on medium, has introduced the ecology research perspective and abstracted mass media like the newspaper, broadcast, television, network as the systematic medium group. The science and technology, the economy, politics and the culture all function as the environment factors which construct the medium ecosystem together.The paper, based on the analysis towards the medium, the medium group, the medium environment, the medium ecological factor, the medium ecosystem etc., defines the various ecological factor natures and has analyzed the function of the ecological factors to the ecological group as well as the medium choice compatible behavior which falls to the medium group. It is the key content about the technology, economy development change and their subsequent ecology function. The main focus of this paper includes the driving function of technology ecological factor towards the ecosystem, the economical factor's key status, the political factor as well as the cultural factor which function an effect of inertia. This paper, based on the discussion of various ecological factors functioning to the intrinsic mechanism and the latent regularity, draws the final conclusions attentively that has constructed the medium ecosystem model.
