Geographic Information System (GIS) is a kind of computer technique system which provides lots of spatial and dynamic geographic information and also provides the decision-making supports service. It builds up various models with spatial and attribute data, manages the geographic data by use of methods of query and analysis spatially based on the models, picks up the useful information serving for the decision-making.Recently, with the development of the market economy and the intenseness of the competition, Enterprises continually bring forward new concepts and methods to promote abilities of competition, in which the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is one of the new strategies to help the corporations make progress and successes in competition. CRM contains abundant spatial information, the information play important part in helping the corporation realize the automation, making decision support and knowing more about the clients. So, it is necessary to import the GIS technique to the CRM.The thesis primarily research the GIS application in the insurance Customer Relationship Management(CRM), that promote the GIS manage and decision in the enterprise and application in the electronic commerce. System adopts the Delphi to make the stage develop, the SQL server to make backgroud DataBase, and combine the MapX of the forerunner GIS component that make the System to add mapping functionality,realizing the mapped position and display and the two-way searching function of the customer information.Whole system interface concision, beautiful, amity. Finally have reasonable of logic,convenience of operation,well of applicability, and the easy enlargement characteristics,etc.The project this time drew on the experience of CRM management conception, and is also an insurance client relationship management software facing to the public of insurance businessmen. This software takes the client resource management as the core, and helps insurance sellers to manage the clients' information well. With the development of scientific technologies, the science of computer is going to be more and more advanced. As one part of the application of computer, its advantages of using computers to manage the clients' business information and arrange the schedule of activities are much more than doing them by human beings. The advantages such as it is quick to retrieve, convenient to seek information, and it is good in reliability, big in storage, safe in security, long in life, and low in cost, can greatly improve the working efficiency of businessmen.
