With the establishment of workflow process model of VMI, this article study the optimization of VMI workflow process model and gives some principles about this.It analysis the design and the execution process of VMI strategy furtherly. It presents a detailed schema of VMI system, puts emphasis on the question of Inventory Management System design,Distributor MIS design,Net Structure design and Database design etc.At last, this article points out some other fields that need to be studied further and makes a predictive prospect of inventory management in the environment of supply chain.
