The traditional independent monitoring and measuring devices, which are mainly applied to the fieldwork and localized in a limited span of space-time, could capture the measuring data/information at any place or time in the case that a network monitoring and measuring system is established combining with Internet. With the fast development of microprocessor technology, embedded network nodes are realized and with performance steadily improved. The combination between embedded system and network technology has offered technical supporting for the network information popularization of traditional devices.Electromotor and it's controller, which are the core of the equipment, has become much more complicated and specialized at the aspects of inspection and maintenance. In order to facilitating the inspection and early warning for professionals, the long-distance inspection for the electromotor and it's controller is on demand. Considering the electromotor system as key part, a network inspecting scheme, which the remote monitor PC(Client) running status of Lab VIEW virtual instrument with the help of carrying out μC/OS-II system' embedded TCP/IP protocol on the platform of ARM processor(Server), is presented in this paper.A network nodes hardware platform for data collecting and transmitting processed by LPC2210 ARM is established in terms of software and hardware co-design, which composes of ADC circuit, Ethernet circuit, storage circuit and power circuit. The kernel fundamental and multi-task mechanism for the μC/OS-II real-time operating system are well studied. On the basis of that, the tasks are functionally categorized, which has facilitated the design and maintenance of software. Adopting simple ZLG/IP protocol stack, the network server is constructed with Socket programming on the platform of ARM. The establishment of network communicating client computer and visibility of inspecting data are achieved in the LabVIEW graphical programming environment.The system developed is tested under the circumstances of lab. The inspecting codes programmed by LabVIEW is carried out on the client computer, and the signals of current and velocity are simulated by signal generator. The result on virtual oscillograph is of good agreement with the signal wave collected by server.The widely use of network inspection technology and instrument will improve efficiency of measuring, reduce the cost of inspection and control, shorten the cycle of measuring and testing work, and finally satisfy the customers furthest.
