Along with our rapid development of urbanization, the problem of urban waterlogging has became an prominent issue, especially in recent years, its frequently appearing bring huge damage to people’s lives and property. With the development of electronic technology and computer network, by the use of the remote monitor system, achieve real-time data of the waterlogging region and take effective measures to reduce the loss of people’s property, has great significance.Based on electronic and computer network technology, we designed a remote monitor system; it consists of data acquisition unit, the network transmission unit, the uC/OS-II OS, the embedded WEB server and data server. It has the following features:First, with data acquisition capability. It has analog to digital converter module, converting rainfall, pressure and other analog data to digital data. To improve the accuracy of the ADC, oversampling techniques and mean filtering technology has been introduced.Second, with Ethernet interface, it supports TCP/IP protocol, connected to the internet and transmit data from remote, also, it support system management online.Third, with the B/S architecture server function, it support quickly access to the system data. to reduce the response time of request,it used semaphores and look-up table method.Fourth, with C/S architecture server function, it support transmiting data to remote client, for more in-depth analysis and process, to improve the efficiency of data transmission, data transfer protocol has been introduced. Fifth, with data maintenance module, it facilitate data management, update and search, improve data security and scalability, shorten the waiting time of data access.the driver based on the switch chip88E6083, ADC and UART was implemented, the uC/OS-II OS and embedded TCP/IP protocol stack was transplanted, the most important, we achieved Web server and Data server in application layer. the system with low cost, good stability and high real-time characteristics, will has a very broad application prospects.
