Track And Field Games Management Information System Design And Implementation

The track meet plays an important role in sports games. At least one track meet will be hold by every school. Since organizing a track meet is very complex like the social work and sophisticated system engineering, it is hard to throw a track meet fully by hand. Commonly, for a track meet, lots of staff should do for the registration, arrangement and roll ordering before the meet begins. During the track meet, a great deal of game score should be gathered, categorized, processed and checked. And after the game, all the results should be analyzed, statistical compared and eventually distributed. These jobs will take lots of manpower, material resources and finance. Moreover, it is very possible to raise errors. For large track meet, if all the work is taken by hand, it is difficult to successfully hold such a game.To take advantage of the construction of information and networking, we develop this track meet management system for Xichang University. Our system is based on the campus LAN. With the way of network database Microsoft SOL Server 2000, and based on the new design way of software engineering, we develop a new track meet which implements the sports arrangement, score recording and statistical etc. by new ways and greatly saves the manpower, material resources and finance. The key technologies and solutions of our system are following:(1) Use intelligent management to implement the arrangement of athletes. All the game items can be defined with custom.(2) Seamlessly connect to Word and Excel and improves the operability.(3) The system is suitable for large sports game.(4) The user interface is convenient for data type-in of the athletes.(5) The game is tracked all of the time. All the data can be automatically processed and issued directly.(6) As the system is designed with the advanced Unified Modeling Language, it is very effective, reliable and extensible.
