The revolutionary concept of "Software Radio" was presented in the 1990s; its application is continuously expanding and deepening. The development of modem military communication has raised higher and higher requirements for the radio receiver. With the wide application of Communication Interference Immunity, it's very necessary to realize the full-probability channelized receiver. This subject has implemented the channelizing module, which is used to channelize the baseband complex (I/Q) digital signal in software receiver.Several models of the software receiver were analyzed and their advantages and disadvantages were compared. The complex signal receiver algorithem model was chosen as the theoretical basis. Then the low-pass filter prototype was designed using the Minimax Optical design methodology.To solve the problems in the complex signal model, an improved model was proposed. This improved model was simulated and analyzed with different inputs and it was concluded that this model is correct and practical.The next step was to select the suitable hardware platform and to realize the needed channelizing module. To solve the difficulties in implement, the Top-down design flow was adopted to perform system designing and budgeting, setting the system clock and its running mode. The function, timing and interface mode of each module are also set. Verilog was used to design and simulate each module in ISE and ModelSim, referring to the standard FPGA/CPLD design flow. During this process, a series of optimization methods were presented to improve the effectiveness of resource usage. ISE was used to connect each module and to complete the FPGA program design, implementation, simulation and timing analysis of the whole system. Finally design file was converted to a downloadable format.During establishment of the hardware system, some guides were given. Logic Analyzer and Mixed Signal Oscilloscope were used to perform the system test and it was concluded that the design objectives were achieved. The system performance was analyzed based on the test results.The theoretical significance of the work was that an improved model was proposed and its accuracy and practicality was proved. The engineering significance of the work was that a high-performance implementation of channelizing module was proposed with the reference value.
