Newspagers get together and insist the news media group recent years, according to the reform of the culture mechanism and the requisition of making the culture industry huge and strong. Problems of the combination are emerging that integration of the news information resources and cooperation of the news information production flow. The purpose of this paper is to research how to integrate the news information resources and to study the cooperative oriented News Information Production Flow Model (NIPF).This paper makes a brief investigation on workflow related technology at first including definition of workflow, model and modeling methods, structure of WfMS (Workflow Management System) and workflow patterns based on Petri nets. Next, it analyzes the whole procedure of the NIPF based on an instance of Press Group. This paper divides and rules the NIPF, including "Cooperative workflow of collecting and compiling news" and "Productive workflow of aggregating and mining news", and analyzes NIPF at the end of chapter 3. In chapter 4, this paper constructs the NIPF using Petri Net and its' extension based on the analysis. This paper designs and realizes two sub-systems at the end.This paper focuses on the constructing of NIPF and some key problems of the sub-systems. So it is lack of the process design of workflow and performance optimized design of large-scale NIPF. Because of using the abstract method to construct the NIPF model, it is also lack of the design using workflow description language such as BPEL4WS. Those are all the emphases in the following research.The research of this paper is propitious to the news information resource integration and news information cooperative production of the traditional press group. And it can improve the story level, improve the core competence, and extend the space of information increment.
