As a sophisticated system, the ITS encounters the difficulty of resource sharing and service coordination in conventional network environment, which influences the further development of ITS. The feature, which utilizes grid technology to establish traffic grid application environment to achieve sharing and coordination, makes a new way to resolve such problem. This paper starting with establishing traffic grid based OGSA standard, analyses the relation of traffic services and presents the methods for building traffic service. The sharing and optimal using of resources and services are the precondition and base of the sharing and coordination. Since the surveillance functions provided by GT3 can't satisfy the demand of traffic services, in this paper, the hierarchical architecture of integration information service based on MDS and Index service is designed and implemented, there are two parts in it: resource information service which monitors the resource state and traffic service information service which manages the service factory and instance. The service for selecting optimal service is the interface for the client of all services. So the querying and surveillance of dynamic resource and service could be solved by the integration information service. The client program of traffic could always acquire the optimal services through querying the integrated information service without acknowledging the addresses of service and resource.Finally, we make researches on testing the result of the traffic grid constructed. The traffic flow forecast service and the selection of optimal path service were built. The research shows that the performance of Traffic Flow Guidance service has greatly improved with the sharing and optimal of computing resource. It has achieved the predominance of sharing in multiple resources and services in traffic grid and makes preparation for further consummating ITS.
