Remote Navigation Of The Ship Based On Ais Dynamic Monitoring System

AS the number ocean ships increasing and the shp's size developing forwards large scale and high speed, the important water channels on the world are becoming more and more crowd, and the wrecks happen frequently, which threatens navigational security and sea surroundings tremendously. Automatic Identification System(AIS) was brought forward in this condition. AIS is a system which consists of satellite position, peg-top compass, log etc, it can transfer and receive information through VHF data link, and display nearby watercrafts position and navigational dynamic information on radar or electric chart.In this paper, the current AIS development is illuminated systematically, including SOTDMA, ITDMA, RATDMA and FATDMA protocol. The principle of SOTDMA and structure of ship AIS system is introduced emphatically. IEC 61162 defines AIS data link mode, speed setting, sentence format and communication characters which is discussed emphatically, also is emphatic task in data parsing. It is indispensable to store parsed data from AIS sentence and display ship position for a integrated item, also is a prerequisite tool to control and display in human-machine interface, which makes up this system. The origin, development and application in our country of AIS is introduced first in this paper, then AIS running principle, the format of AIS data link message and IEC61162 protocol and format of sentences is analyzed detailedly. In chat four and chat five, How to develop AIS parse procedure using Visual C++6.0 is narrated, also including how to store parsed data to SQL Server database. In chat six, how to develop electric chart displaying tool using MapObjects and displaying ships position on electric chart is introduced. The debug of procedures is displayed in chat seven, it has reached original goal of this project.
