Under the knowledge economy condition, the renewal of knowledge accelerates, the scientific technical development is rapid, and the evaluation system of scientific research has the new development tendency. In the evaluation system of scientific research, the treatment of the data plays an important role. With the wide application of large-scale scientific and technical literature, thesis, patent database system in the scientific research, the amount of scientific and technological data in the global range sharply(?)ncreases.This explosive growth in stored data has generated an urgent need for new techniques and tools that can intelligently assist us in transforming the vast amounts of data into useful information and knowledge.This research is on the basis of the ARP project of Chinese Academy of Sciencer.Combining with the actual application, it analyzes the current data situation in scientific research evaluation systems, and introduces how to construct the data preprocessing system in the evaluation system of Chinese Academy of Sciencer. This text applies the data preprocessing technology to the data preprocessing course in scientific research evaluation systems for the first time, and develops a data preprocessing system to the vast evaluation datum.At first, this text has introduced the current situation and problem of China's scientific research evaluation system, and analyzed the current situation of data preprocessing technology and metadata. Then we put forward the data preprocessing system in this research on this basis. The system is divided into three parts altogether: Metadata Repository, rule defining module and data processing module. The whole workflow of the system is as follows: First, scan the source database and goal database to get their siructure and content information and put them into the Metadata Repository.Then, according to the information, users define various rules of data processing to obtain perfect data, and put them into the Metadata Repository.Last, data processing module obtains various the defined rule in Metadata Repository and uses its function module to get the data.
