USA's journalism is known as loose entironment and abroad freedom they can almost do anything they want to. Media is even regarded as "the fourth power" (except for lawmaking judicature and administration ). Puzzled by so superficial phenomenon, a lot people feel the freedom of press in USA even exceed nation boundaries and ideology but it is not the fact.War becomes the touchstone to weigh whether the freedom of press in USA is really free or not from USA dominant KOSOVO war to Afghanistan war and Iraq war (the second gulf war) after "9.11". So-called freedom of press in USA meeted with serious suppression and began to sink. USA, such a extended boost freedom of press and advocated news freely flowing country, wilfully trampled other countries, not only destroyed people's houses, but also attacked broadcasts and TV stations . Except for these, the government also suppressed and managed media by news examined system secrecy system and something else system. Such as limited media to report supplied with inaccurate, even false information strengthened examination. At the same time, media which have long free tradition also put up high self-discipline, unified report calibre and inducted consensus consistently against foreign countries, willing to be the microphone and loudspeaker of the government, actively exerted propagandistic function, trying their's best to sever nation benefit and class benefit.The paper regards the two wars.especially Iraq war, which came next "9.11",as the breakthrough, recuring USA's media's behaviours during war.Further anatomises the freedom of press in USA and the nature of USA' media's the spallation of the freedom of press during war and the strengthening of propagandizer consciousness as well as the development trend of the freedom of press after war.
