Research On Relative Press Freedom

"Absolute press freedom"was considered as lawless, without any restraint or limit in many part of the world , then criticizes it by this achievement. Is there"absolute press freedom"in the world ? What`s the relations between"Absolute press freedom"and"relative press freedom"? These are the questions it wants to solve. Engels had used twice and Lenin had used many times the phrase"absolute press freedom". This article synthesizes principles of dialectic and puts forwards that to get toknow the relativity of freedom of the press we should draw clear distinction from sophistry of relativism which extremely emphasizes relativism while ignoring absoluteness and we can't go astray into the elitism route of the press via pinpointing relativity of press freedom too much. In addition, the existence of relativity press freedom relies on its absoluteness.The contradictory movement between value rationality and tool rationality, collective unreasonableness, media commercialism and Populism are the reasons of relative press freedom. Diverse systems, various continents and different countries have different degree of freedom of the press, and these are performance of"relative press freedom".
