The psychology and demand of audience have strong influence on the disseminating effect. The disseminating effect of TV news which is one part of media dissemination, is closely related to the how is in proportion with whether it fits in with psychology of audience and meets the requirement of them. The editing of TV news is an important part of programming. Only on its meeting with the mentality and demand of audience can TV news better achieve its spreading effect.Nowadays the value orientation and social mentality have assumed new features, thus the receiving psychology of audience have underwent great changes. But the present TV news editing does not fit in with their mentality and meet with the requirement of them. Therefore innovatory ways and means must be discussed from the standpoint of the audience.This thesis is intended to make a study of how to innovate the techniques of new editing from the standpoint of the audience and pointed out the innovatory significance of such audience-oriented TV new editing. In this thesis, the psychological demand of the audience is divided into two levels, popular psychological demand and multi-dimensional psychology demand. As for the popular psychological demand, there are three characters and six demands. Three characters are randomness, interaction and interfusion. And the demands include the demands for information, for timeliness, for trueness, for newness, for beauty and for closeness. In the selection and mending of news and also the way of expressing, such psychological demands of the audience must be took into consideration. More specifically, innovation must be made in the selection of the news material, manuscripts mending, frame editing, sound synthesizing and also adding of new elements, in order to meet satisfy the audience and make it easy to be accepted. Besides, from the point of the multi-demands of the audience, the differences in demands also requires new innovations in enriching program form and editing of cutting method.
