| In recent years, China Unicom has provided several kinds of value-added service, such as SMS, BREW/JAVA and WAP etc. But as so far, only post-paid customer can enjoy value-added service, most of IN pre-paid customer cannot. The cause of the circumstance is that the infrastructure of the IN can not support real-time accounting of data service.In some subsidiaries of China Unicom, the proportion of pre-paid customer is much larger than that of post-paid customer. Because of the requirements of the competition and development, the platform of IN has been supported value-added service, such as SMS/1X/IVR, which brings uncontrolled income loss to China Unicom, although wins and maintains customer at the same time. Thus, it's urgent to solve the problem of IN customer real-time accounting of data service,This core of this thesis is CDMA pre-paid customer of China Unicom. In this thesis, we descript the actuality of services, networks and business systems of China Unicom in detail; analyze the current problems and the rootstock in the value-added service supporting; research on the scheme of real-time accounting.In Diameter scheme, credit control server is added in the primary structure of value-added service supporting system, implementing the function of real-time accounting and credit control when pre-paid customer uses value-added service. This scheme introduces the new AAA protocol named Diameter protocol, which is the upgraded edition of Radius protocol. Diameter protocol is not only compatible with Radius protocol, but also can support the future 3G data service. Diameter protocol is considered to be the most suitable AAA protocol for the future mobile communication system.Based on Diameter scheme, the following research may contrapose the character of 3G services and networks, combine the developing trend of accounting system of inland and overseas, research on the convergence of pre-paid and post-paid, implement the unified support of the two group of users. |
