Nowadays, EJB(Enterprise JavaBeans) is nothing novel rather it's aconcomitant of J2EE. EJB inherits the trait of Java ------ write once, runeverywhere. With EJB container, the developers need not make contact with somecomplicated technology ------ such as thread, process, socket, only needconcentrate on the execution of the business logic. EJB is able to combine with other components(servlet, jsp) successfully to serve J2EE server, and it's able to unite other distributed technology(CORBA, COM+) to realize the remote application. Here, the author wants to begin EJB analysis in terms of both theory and practice. One side give the detail explanation of EJB execution, including the basic knowledge, sorts, principle of EJB, compare EJB with other distributed technology. On this basis, combining with present top technology, make some advice for the development of EJB. The other side, the author give a practical example, which illustrate the principle of EJB and give the readers a more detailed explanation of EJB.There are five chapters in this article.Chapter One, Introduction, establish the practical significance, value of this topic, the present research conditions, and on this base, make some advice for the development of EJB.The second chapter, the base of EJB. First, analyze the structure of J2EE, and on the basis, expound the basic knowledge of EJB, including the background, history, the status conditions, some relative definition of EJB, the principle, sorts and develop step of EJB.The third chapter, research of EJB's components. The development of EJB depends on 3 kinds of different enterprise javabeans(session bean, entity bean and message driven bean).
