Distributed real-time simulation is the research focus in real-time simulation area, which is usually used for the man-in-loop or hardware-in-loop simulation of platform level systems. It can dramatically increase the number of computers in real-time simulation systems, and improve the capacity of simulation system to resolve more complex problems. KD_DRTSS, which takes reflective memory as the real-time network and uses database to store and manage simulation models, configuration information and data of results, is a distributed real-time simulation system developed by Military Simulation Lab of National University of Defense Technology. It has many advantages, such as"Managing concentratedly, Running distributedly".JMASE (Joint Modeling And Simulation Environment) is a M&S supporting environment based on object-oriented technology. It is used to build models and simulations at engineering and engagement level. JMASE provides a suite of tools and a set of services to assist and facilitate model development, which promotes the reusability of models and simulations. It is very valuable to integrate JMASE with a distributed real-time simulation system. By this means, the integrated system will have the advantages of the both. This thesis takes KD_DRTSS as the platform to study how to apply JMASE as a simulation node in distributed real-time simulation system.After studying the architectures, scheduling policies, and workflows of JMASE and KD_DRTSS, the thesis presents the workflow solution of JMASE node, which shows how to change the workflow of JMASE to keep consistency with KD_DRTSS. On the basis of the solution, the abstract design of processes running in JMASE node is presented. There are two processes, namely, the node management process and JMASE simulation application process.This thesis pays more attention to two key technologies. The first is the scheduling policy of JMASE node, which studies how to advance simulation correctly under the scheduling of KD_DRTSS. The second is the technology of synchronization among JMASE node and other ones. The key idea of this technology is keeping data synchronization by fixing the updating period of each player.This thesis designs and implements the solutions and technologies mentioned above, and develops a simulation system to test them. The results of simulation show these solutions and technologies are feasible and effective.
