Wireless mobile Ad hoc network is composed of mobile terminal nodes with wireless communication device, and typically characterized by its temporariness, multi-hop and no-center. It has an infrastructureless distributed mufti-hop structure; all nodes have an equal status and act as two roles-router and node itself. Such convenience and fast to built, and unrestricted by the time and space, this network can be applied in succors, sessions, militaries, explorations and objects monitor of long distance or dangerous environments. Besides it can be used to extend the terminal network.Routing is the key technique of Ad hoc network and one of the most important factors affect the performance of the network. As the dynamic and variable topology, those traditional routing protocols can't be applied to Ad hoc network and new routing protocol must be designed. In the past twenty years, many researchers put forward a series of routing protocols for Ad hoc networks. Implement and simulation of those routing protocols have been the important issues for Ad hoc researching routing protocol. This dissertation aims on the simulation analysis of some typical wireless mobile Ad hoc routing protocols, proposes and achieves a routing protocol which is suitable for the vehicle-carried broadcasting station. This dissertation starts with the basic conceptions and characteristics of wireless mobile Ad hoc network, introduces the system structure of wireless mobile Ad hoc network and the current problems and future application. Four typical wireless mobile Ad hoc network routing protocols-DSDV, AODV, DSR and TORA-are compared and analyzed in different environments with the network simulation software NS2. According to the results, it can conclude that the performance of reactive routing protocol is generally better than that of proactive routing protocol. The software system structure design and routing protocol design of vehicle-carried broadcasting station, which is the node of wireless mobile Ad hoc network, are studied in detail in this dissertation. The SDSR, which is suitable for the vehicle-carried broadcasting station network is designed according to the DSR routing protocol. The SDSR is added to the software system to achieve the free commnication between...
