This project is part of the maglev communication system project, a large project sponsored by the national"863"plan. This dissertation discusses how to design and implement the encoding and decoding of Manchester code with a bit rate of about 4Mb/s. Other sub-projects in the maglev communication system projects deal with the communication channel, including baseband signal encoding and decoding, transmitting and receiving the wireless signal and baseband signal processing The technique of synchronization is deeply request in the digital communications system. There are different ways to make the bit synchronization, for example: the technique of the pilot frequency, the technique of some change about the baseband signal. The line code is an efficient way to make the baseband digital signal have some massage about the bit synchronization. Due to the special characteristics of maglev, the maglev communication system must be guaranteed the quality of the communication in the field with randomly varying environment. The line code is very efficient for bit synchronization in the communication systems and it is useful to choose the appropriate line code. The dissertation introduces the advantages of the Manchester code, then studies the way to realize the encoding and decoding of the Manchester code, and introduces the process of the joint-debugging on the whole system. The contents of this dissertation are as follows:1. Designing the main structure of the project according to the requirement.2. Implementing and simulating the main program in FPGA.3. Generating the schematic and the PCB layout, debugging the software and hardware.4. Taking part in the joint-debugging on the whole system.
