Erp Technology In Mobile Information Systems

Universal economy and China's entering into WTO have brought about chances for Chinese enterprises also pressure from the global market. Information technology represented by internet has been supplying the enterprises with new methods for their development and been the vital guarantee for trans-district, trans-ownership, transnational business. To improve enterprise management and business-running mechanism, ERP (enterprise resource plan) , CRM (custom relationship management),SCM (supply chain management) have been the informational projects in the domestic enterprises.By information technology, ERP realizes the share and coordination of interior resource and overcomes the bureaucrat constraints. Then all the business processes can be connected without faults and delay, administrative efficiency, business accuracy and profiting capacity being improved while cost decreased.Aiming at being the world first-class telecommunication operator, China Mobile, for which I am working, has laid out the strategic policies— "basic network' s broadband, multi-communication business, concentration of supporting systems" , and emphasized "service, business decision-making, administration improvement" . While facing the enormous users, only integrating the structure of information supporting systems can improve the market competence and realize the group' s strategic policies. For this, China Mobile has decided to implement ERP system. This paper aims at building up ERP system, resolving the technical problems during building process.The paper is describing the following items: choosing ERP software, setting up the system structure, network layout, switch old system to new system, system security, backup, integrated with other system, maintenance, developing and optimizing, as well withdrawing a consequence according to the implementation.In accordance with the conditions of Sichuan Mobile Company, ERP implementing case of the paper is proved to be feasible and has set solid foundation the implementation and steady running for ERP system.Research of this paper gained the financial aids of MIS project of Sichuan Mobile Company. The project implementation has been successfully finished.
