Mineral resource is human production and basic source of the means of livelihood, it is the human valuable wealth. Its development and utilization is closely linked with each department of national economic construction. The colliery, as one kind of the mine, is a kind of special geographical area, which is in large scale, wide area, big difference between geological condition and coal seam composition. At present, the information collection and processing of construction, exploit course, apparatus and material are still finished by manual operation mainly, which is difficult to meet the needs of modern enterprise's production, management, official working, etc. So we need a method or a system with intelligent characteristic to meet it. Colliery surveying management information system is the best solution.According to the existing research, current situation and essential technical frame of GIS, combining with the subsystem of colliery synthesis gas supervisory system of Yunnan LuDong, this paper carries on the analysis and the summary to the basic theory of space data acquisition, space data model, data management and analyzed the essential technology in colliery application. It also concerned the concrete realization and application of surveying management information system.The purpose of this paper is to solve technological problem of establishing colliery surveying management information system by studying the system, to realize the functions such as data management, data analysis ,so that it can provides a more reliable, effective, swift, economical and practical management system for the colliery.
