The research on Computer Aided Curriculum-Scheduling Systems(CACSS) plays an important role in university teaching management. With the expansion of universities and colleges,the popularity and practicality of the systems in application become more and more urgent. A growing number of universities and colleges, however, are seeking curriculum-scheduling systems, which match their respective conditions on the basis of resources so as to get rid of the complicated and painstaking work and to reduce the teaching staff's workload and the faults in curriculum-scheduling, hence, improving work efficiency.This paper discusses the problem how to design and develop a practical curriculum-scheduling system under the present circumstances of our universities and colleges.In particular, it puts forward the priority strategy on the basis of the current universities and colleges' resources and algorithm design, and at the same time, gives the concrete method and application examples of system realization, based on the thorough research of the current conditions of our universities and colleges. It innovates the analyzing method of priority strategy in the analysis and designing of curriculum-scheduling, utilizes structural design method which is faced to data streams in modeling, makes corresponding controlling and calculating programs through the applications of Visual FoxPro 6.0 and Turbo C, completes the design and development of universities and colleges' curriculum-scheduling system, and gets good effects in schools' practical applications of Jiujiang Vocational and Technical College.
