| Some kinds of advanced technique, which include Global Positioning System(GPS), Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM), Geographic Information System(GIS), computer communication and computer network are adopted in this thesis.By summarizing some other patrol systems ,this thesis introduces the necessity of developing Real-time Optical Cable Patrol System , and discusses the GPS/GSM/GIS's application. Then this thesis explains how to rely on GPS position technology, GSM network communication technology,GIS graphic display and manage technology to implement system profile. And it describes the structure and pricinple of Real-time Patrol system , the system functions, characteristics,implementation and the related technical parameters.This thesis solves the problem of that how to receive and send data by GSM SMS and how to lively display GPS data on the GIS map by Maplnfo software. |
