Along with the development of the computer, many industries and branches have developed their own software to manage their inner business and information. The explosion of the internet in recent years has caused the need of the association between different industries and branches to achieve communication and information sharing. However, various heterogeneities exist between different data sources, especially semantic heterogeneities, because the same data was modeled by different users in different ways. Thus, some associated branches can't exchange data with each other resulting in information isolation. Information integration technology was developed for achieving information exchange and sharing between distributed, anonymous data sources. We built an ontology-based integration system universal architecture (OBISUA), to exact the information distributed in several anonymous data sources and provide an integrated data view.Information integration system attempt to provide user with seamless and flexible access to information from multiple anonymous, distributed and heterogeneous data sources through a unified query interface. Information integration traditionally was dealing with the heterogeneities in structure and syntax. The heterogeneities in semantics are standing out while the data repositories are becoming large in size, dynamic, and widely distribution, in addition to the lack of the unified vocabulary among the data sources. In this paper, We propose a semantics-oriented informationintegration method--ontology-driven semantics-oriented informationintegration method, which introduce the ontology as the unified semantic vocabulary into the OBISUA and support query in the semantic layer to implement the data sharing and interaction among the multiple data sources.
