The Research Of Book Information Query System Based On XQuery

Along with the emerging in a large amount of XML data with the network, the research of how to query necessary information from XML data source correctly and effectively is becoming more and more important. W3C designs a XML query language, named XQuery, to solve the problem.It Suits for all kinds of XML data source and is the new query language only for XML.It can be seen as the"SQL"in XML data management systems.The study on XQuery meets the requirements of development of current XML query technology.Using XQuery in XML query application is the effective approach of XML data usage.This thesis is mainly about the use of the XQuery and its applications in the query system of book information, with the purpose satisfying the need of data integration.Firstly, the thesis discusses the base knowledge of XML, including the XML virtue, DTD, namespace, XML schema ,analyzes in depth XQuery Data Model, structure , function of XQuery and UML modeling tool Visio;Then studies and analyzes an implementation of XQuery– Qizx, discusses how to use Qizx to query the data of the relation database and translate it to XML. Based on this, we discuse the theory of the data integration system which based on Qizx, and detail the steps of integration. Next, This thesis analyzes the requirement of the system, and get the Use Case model as well as their specification. Futhur more, we detail the core code of the system.Finally, we design the XML, which store the system data, based on the XML design pattern and the system requirement,Including the XQuery technology into the query system of book information and using it to provide a data integration platform. Using it, we can query information from various datasource.In addition, the methods in this article can be used in many similar cases.
