Tft-lcd Module Test System Software Research

The display principle of Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display Module (TFT-LCD Module) and its testing technology are discussed in this thesis. A practical test system of TFT-LCD Module based on the principle of TFT-LCD Module and ARM chip is proposed, and the test system is controlled by software making the display and test of TFT-LCD Module come true.The main work of this thesis is as follows: Firstly, the display principle of TFT-LCD is expatiated; Secondly, test software for TFT-LCD Module is written, including TFT-LCD Module interface programme, TFT-LCD test programme, Touching Panel driving programme and GUI (Graphics User Interface) programme; Thirdly, test software is debugged and analyzed; Finally, optics characteristics and electric characteristics of standard TFT-LCD Module are tested by this test software, and tested data are analyzed.The GUI Programme is replanted to the testing platform based on HD66789 and LPC2210 in experiment, carrying out the character display test and moving picture test. It is very valuable in the domestic small TFT-LCD Module testing datum.In touching panel coordinates conversion debugging, collected data are processed and the theoretical formula is amended with good effect of display. It is proved that the formula is exclusive in this test system by experiment.The standard TFT-LCD Module has been tested by this test software, including contrast ratio, color chromaticity, viewing angle, bad dot and luminance. These tested data are compared with those parameters of standard TFT-LCD Module, which proved that varying amplitudes are all in the required region of TFT-LCD Module testing.This test software has a wide application to the research and exploitation about TFT-LCD Module testing. Works of thesis are essential for further research on the study of test system of TFT-LCD Module.
