To enhance system practicability and expansibility, the whole system comprises two parts according to the TMN's design thought: the backstage and onstage of management. The backstage is mainly to provide the interface of software version management system. The onstage, the main body of the system, complete the operations of software version management.The paper provides a detailed introduction of the design and fulfillment of some pivotal modules like Software Download Module, Main board and Spare Board Synchronize Module and several other modules. Based on the software version management technique and the project, the paper designs and implements the BSS software version management system which has achieved desirable effects.
