| The baseband processor board is one of the most important modules of software radio platform, responsible for processing for the allbaseband signal and datainterfacing. Based on the product definition and requirements, data processing and data exchangebetween two boards are the main demand. Based on these two requirements, the design chosenTI’s (Texas Instruments) multi-core C66DSP and Xilinx’s Spartan-6FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array).DSP is primarily responsible for dataoperations and exchange,FPGA isprimarily responsible for the digital signal’s preliminary processingand data exchange with DSP.Application of C66series DSP and Spartan-6family FPGA developed a piece of software radio platform baseband board is the main content of the paper. Specific contents are as follows.The first chapter introduces the subject background, describes the structure and content of the arrangements, and author’s mainly work on the subject.The second chapterdetermines the design program,and gives the logic diagram of the board. Finally, describes theselection of the main chips.The third chapter completes schematic design. The main contents includeperipheral circuit designofDSP, FPGA, PHY and power module, clock module, reset module.The fourth chaptercompletes PCB design and board’s debug.
