EPLRS (Enhanced Position Location Reporting System) is an integrated system providing communication, localization and identification functions and with navigation and localization functions as the primary. At the beginning of design, the central controlling communicating tragedy was taken, navigation, localization, control, user communication, routing, routed and wireless resource management of whole network are all controlled by the network controller. As military communication system, EPLRS should have high survivability and robusticity. The central controlling tragedy induces the system depend much on the network controller. Besides, as military wireless network, the electromagnetic environment of battlefield is complex and the wireless resource is limited. It is very difficult to bear the giant overhead caused by central management for the channels and time slots of the system; also the expansibility and real time characteristic is limited. So then, the distributive management of EPLRS communication network is the necessary and essential development trend.Routing and wireless resource management combining solution scheme in multi-hop wireless network is studied in this thesis, one distributive working scheme combined routing and wireless resource management is prompted and applied in EPLRS communication network with the multi-hop wireless networking mechanism. That solves the high dependency on network controller and delay issue effectively, and satisfies the system's communication business need. Meanwhile, the successful application in EPLRS validates the effectiveness and justification of the scheme and its support to the high data-rate real-time services. It provides one choice for multi-hop wireless network to support the bandwidth and delay sensitive services.In this thesis, routing protocol and wireless resource management are combined for the voice service in the communication network. Session triggers the source node to build the bandwidth reserved routing to the destination. For the data service, AODV protocol is used to find the shortest route between source and destination, and the data is transmitted hop by hop.
