Research On Performance Evaluation Of Communication Network

In this paper, wireless communication network with the ability of survivability is studied, providing ubiquity and mobility and being able to offer entire coverage and a wide variety of services. The scheme integrating military PCS system with digital cellular system is brought forward and flooding route combined with civil cellular system is adopted as the method of mobile management, having survivability and ability of roaming and handover. The realization mechanism of improved flooding route and the simulation software OPNET are introduced briefly. And then, the modeling and simulation of improved flooding route in OPNET based on WCDMA network are discussed in detail. On the basis of this simulation platform, the function and property of improved flooding route are analyzed and tested. According to the simulation data, performance of the network is statistically figured out and evaluated. Finally based on the simulation results of an experimental network, some useful conclusions obtained can be used in the network decision-making process.
