Agent technology is one of the sophisticated fields, on which we have made rapid developments in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. At present, Agents have been commonly used in many fields. Agent represents the birth of a new kind of research methods, and promotes the development of artificial intelligence. Mobile Agent technology is a new computing to build complex, dynamic, distributed artificial intelligence. Grid was installed in a variety of distributed and complex infrastructure on Internet. The goal of grid is to meet customer's requirements in resources sharing, resources uniting, which is similar with MAS(Multi-Agent System).This thesis simulates grid single sign-on mechanism with Agents. Our work mainly focuses on the following aspects:(1). Study grid architecture and Agent technology, and combine Agent technology into single sign-on mechanism in grid. After adding some Agent characteristics, such as reactivity, autonomy, coordination, self-studying and many other characteristics into single sign-on mechanism in grid, we make some improvements in current single sign-on mechanism in grid..(2). After studying Agent structure Joseph and Jennifer Bigus provides, build my own Agent structure with autonomy, reactivity, pro-activeness and many other characteristics.(3). Simulate grid environment and implement grid single sign-on mechanism based on Agents.The grid environment we simulate is divided into two parts: grid client and grid server. Grid client can visit services in grid server using GridAgent. And Grid server can check the client using LoginAgent.
