Grid Security Model Based On The Virtual Organization

Grid computing environment is a dynamic, multi-protocol environment; it possesses complex security problems that require new technology to deal with. The Grid security model in this article is divided into different parts by the Virtual Organization (VO), which is based on Grid Security Infrastructure, according to the characteristics of the grid, and makes use of the existing security technology.The grid security model's security policy contains of two parts:In the single VO, there is a comprehensive security strategy, users choice their own roles to decide the rights. Via the mapping from the user's global identity ID to the user's local identity ID, and the proxy of user, which protect users'rights and safety in a VO; Between the VOs, identity mapping mechanism makes different VOs'security strategy compatible, achieves the seamless security communication.The model's advantages are making different VOs'security strategy compatible by the intermediate mechanism, the VOs have their own management, need not a unified security strategy, the safety performance has greatly improved. Finally, the article describes the implementation of the model's authentication system project, including the plying platform and the performing steps, which proves the project's feasibility.
