Data Compression And The Regional Division Algorithm Based On The Pda-site Calibration Of Energy Meter System

Electric-power-meter field-checkout is a task of checking electric-power-meter running on the power field to assure it working well, which includes field-checking and internal management. It's one of the most important tasks of Electric Power Measurement Department. With the development of the modern communication and information management technology, especially with the wireless communication technology, old ways of electric-power-meter field-checkout must be innovated for more automatic and normative.This thesis has designed an electric-power-meter field-checkout system based on PDA and wireless communication technology, and studied the key algorithms used in this system, and then proposed improved schemes.First, this thesis analyses the principles of data compression and proposes a new data compression algorithm, which takes practical characteristics of data frame into account and combine dynamic huffinan compression code with LZW, and acquires better performance for short data frame compression. This algorithm has been applied into the GPRS data communication in the field-checkout.Second, this thesis proposes a simple but efficient domain decomposition algorithm and puts it into use in checkout tasks arrangement process.Third, this thesis designs a Bluetooth/IrDA conversion equipment, which takes full advantage of wireless characteristics of PDA and makes field data collection more convenient.Meanwhile,it overcomes PDA's shortcoming of being prone to damage after frequent inserting-and-drawing.Last, the software and hardware design and implementation of the system is introduced in detail, and the system performance has been tested, and the results have shown that it performs very well. This system adopts modern information management technology, and then can be a rudiment of the measurement information management system.
