One of the most important issues in the application of the DCS ( Distributed Control System ) is the performance of the communication among subsystems . It will play a significant role in the whole DCS. This paper presents the design of an "Information Transfer Platform" which manages the communication among all the subsystems of a distributed "Induce Array Well Logging Instrument".First of all, the main functions of the platform are given in this paper. Regarding the requirement of real-time character and the demand of a reliable and effective communication in the "Induce Array Well Logging Instrument" , a "DSP+FPGA" frame is presented in order to achieve the "Information Transfer Platform". Subsequently, the design is analyzed and proved to be feasible. Then , various communication methods and interfaces of the "Information Transfer Platform" are discussed and confirmed.Based on description above, the paper introduces the implementation of the hardware design on DSP and FPGA, In view of integration and modularization and the technology of IP core Reuse, a set of function circuits including peripheral Logic circuits of DSP, Manchester encoder and decoder, UART,ect. are integrated into a single FPGA. DSP control functions in FPGA through Control register. In addition, anti-interference measure and redundancy design concerned to the circuit are also introduced.After that, the paper discusses the software design. Based on modularization, the software realize the functions of receiving command, controlling sub-modules, gathering the induce data, uploading the data. They implement the various communication between the ground-system and the sub-modules. In addition, an efficiency compression algorithm facing induction signal is introduced in the software design which saves the overload of the data transfer successfully.
